Terms of sale and use.

1. About Venture Roster

Venture Roster sells downloadable investor research directories and fundraising advisory services. The merchant identity is displayed at checkout and on the Stripe receipt. You can contact us through the form on the Advisory page.

2. Directory purchases

Each regional investor directory is a one-time digital purchase at the price shown on the relevant product page. Unless stated otherwise, the displayed price is in US dollars. Taxes may be added or collected where required.

After payment is confirmed, the purchased file is made available through a payment-linked download page. No user account is required.

3. Immediate digital delivery

By expressly accepting the digital-delivery notice before checkout, you request immediate performance and delivery. Where applicable law provides a cancellation or withdrawal period, you acknowledge that this right may be lost once access or downloading begins. This does not limit any mandatory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

4. Licence and prohibited use

A directory purchase grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the file internally for lawful business research and outreach. You may import it into your own CRM and share it with employees or contractors working directly on your fundraising process.

You must not resell, publish, sublicense, redistribute, mirror, publicly post or use the directory to create a competing data product. You must not use data for harassment, deceptive messaging, unlawful automated outreach or any activity that violates privacy, direct-marketing or anti-spam law.

5. Data limitations

Investor information changes frequently. Venture Roster does not promise that every record will remain complete, current, accurate or suitable for your company. Always verify an investor’s current website, thesis, contact route and regulatory status before outreach. A listing does not mean that an investor has agreed to receive your pitch.

6. Consultations and custom services

The paid strategy-session fee covers the consultant’s preparation and meeting time only. After payment and submission of the intake form, we aim to contact you within two business days to arrange the session. The fee does not include pitch-deck production, ongoing advisory, introductions or outreach execution unless separately agreed in writing.

Pitch preparation and outreach support requested through the contact form require a separate scope, price and written agreement.

7. No guarantee and no regulated advice

Directories, consultations and related materials are research and business-development tools. They are not legal, tax, financial, securities or investment advice, and they do not constitute brokerage, placement-agent or capital-raising services. We do not guarantee replies, introductions, meetings, due diligence, investment, valuation or any fundraising outcome.

8. Payments, fraud and access

Payments are processed by Stripe. You must provide accurate checkout information and may not use a payment method without authorization. We may suspend access where a payment is reversed, disputed, fraudulent or unauthorized.

9. Refunds

Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Digital purchases are generally final after immediate delivery begins, except where applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.

10. Intellectual property

The site, branding, selection, organization and presentation of the directories are owned by or licensed to Venture Roster. No ownership transfers to the buyer.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venture Roster is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost opportunity, lost funding, lost profit, reputational harm or decisions made using the products or services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version shown at the time of purchase governs that transaction unless the law requires otherwise.
